Joel is a devout Filipino sailor who discovered the Romanian smuggler Dumitru hiding between some containers while shifting on the transatlantic deck. If he is discovered by Taiwanese officials in charge of the ship, there is a risk of Dumitru being thrown overboard. Joel decided to hide him as a gesture of gratitude to God. Soon, a dangerous cat and mouse game began. When his crew, his own friends, and even God himself began to betray him, Joel knew he had to face the cruel fate alone.
